Sterling silver with 24KY, 18KY and rose gold and genuine mauve pearls.
The Central panel of these earrings is sterling silver with a fused on pattern of 24k yellow gold. The pieces are then rolled through a rolling mill with a hand cut piece of rice paper. The abstract design on the panels is reminiscent of plant like growth.
The soft and subtle mauve pearls have a slightly peach/ lilac tone. There is an 18K yellow gold frame, which Pauline has hand carved a somewhat geometrical design. The backing for the pearls is sterling silver. The border of the back plate has been textured with one of Pauline’s exquisite tiny and precise matting tools. This gives a delicate shading and detail to the settings.
The ear wires are made of rose gold, fashioned in a style with a ball and loop making them very secure. The link between the pearl settings and panels is also rose gold. The earrings have a very distinctive look to them. The rose gold compliments the warmth of the mauve pearls.
